As Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton already had a rather full schedule. But it appears that they will be assuming a number of royal responsibilities in the coming weeks. Despite spending some quality time with their young family during their children’s fall break, the Prince and Princess of Wales will soon be making more public appearances. One royal source claims that the couple’s engagement schedule appears to be “brutal.”
According to royal analyst Jennie Bond, who recently spoke with OK!, William and Kate are attempting to move past their recent sadness over the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. Bond told the publication, “Catherine will just try to make everything as normal as possible,” in reference to how the Princess of Wales is guiding her kids through this change. William and Catherine will attempt to move on as swiftly as possible following the demise of their great-grandmother and avoid getting too caught up in the sorrow of the previous few months.
Moving forward, William and Kate, means assuming new duties in support of the royal family. Bond explained, “William and Catherine have a very small family and it’s been a tough [work] schedule for them. The ability to combine work and life must have been challenging over the past few weeks, and, let’s face it, it won’t get any simpler as they take on more responsibility.
Kate and William’s new obligations as the Prince and Princess of Wales will undoubtedly add to the already considerable amount of work they already have to do. The couple has consistently provided the royal family with stability, and as the House of Windsor ushers in a new era, they will undoubtedly come to be depended upon much more.
